The Journey
Andrew left Scotland and spent a year travelling around the world, visiting 5 continents and 18 countries. Not only did this trip ignite his love for photography and all types of adventure but it was where the continent of Africa got under his skin.
2012 - 2013

2015
In 2015 Andrew returned to Africa and gained qualifications in safari guiding. He guided in both South Africa and Botswana. It was during his time in Botswana that Andrew lost all his belongings to a wild fire, forcing him to return to Scotland.

His determination to return to Africa saw him back in 2016 where after another spell of guiding he was offered 3 weeks of photography work in Zambia with Norman Carr Safaris.

2017 - 2023
Andrew was responsible for all photography and videography as the company transitioned into the now Time + Tide Africa. During this period they became well known for their consistently high quality marketing material.

2022
Andrew checked off his seventh and final continent after being sent on assignment to Antarctica to create content for White Desert Antarctica. There, he had the incredible opportunity to photograph emperor penguins for the first time and visit the South Pole.
To date, he has now spent three seasons capturing the magic of the white continent and has visited the South Pole on two occasions.

Andrew stepped into the world of freelance photography and videography, embracing the challenge as he explores new destinations and creates content for brands. Forever chasing the next adventure, he feels most alive where the wild things are.
